Hart and Melissa's Fabulous Website

Sometime in late August or early September the database that drives http://www.hartandmelissa.com took a serious nose-dive. I spent a couple evenings trying to rebuild the darn thing from recent backups...but some bug kept creeping back in and corrupting the rebuilds. And then we were overcome by events :)

I started grad school, Sierra started daycare, Melissa headed back to work, I jogged the Army Ten Miler, and we charged ahead learning, exploring, and growing with our new little family.

I finally got a few moments this evening and renewed my efforts to resurrect the site. We've got a bit of a new look going here...but you can expect the same quality posts you've come to know and love!

There is plenty more to come...so check back soon :)

Just a quick post with some wonderful belated photos from the holidays :)

We had the most A-M-A-Z-I-N-G time at Sierra's very first halloween party! They had a moon bounce and everything!! The kids were all super cute in their adorable costumes and were just playful as can be :)

We were also pleased to be able to spend a few hours getting to know many of the parents of Sierra's newfound posse. As you can see from these photos, everyone had a fantastic time!

On Monday, we awoke to a fine fall day. The air was crisp, the breeze was cool, and Sierra had a twinkle in her eyes. And so it was agreed, it was time for people food :)

After her usual dinner time feeding, we broke out the Gerber Baby Oatmeal and mixed it up. With a dubious eye, Sierra dug in...and liked it!

After 3 wonderful years, my little sister finally tied the knot with her perfect match! Nick and Mikaela got married on Oct. 21, 2006 in Baltimore, MD in front of 280 of their closest friends and family. It was such a spectacular, incredible event with details too numerous to count!

There were so many people with digital cameras there that this could have easily been the most photographed event I've ever attended :) In light of that, I've put together two short teasers with a third on it's way...

We spent this super sunny, SUPER windy day running amok at our friend's farm in Frederick, MD-- CRUMLAND! They have tons of fun activities for the young and young-at-heart. We brought a whole posse with us: Grandma & Grampa Rossman, Aunt T, Uncle Wally, and Cousins Noa, Traci, Sydney, and little Danni...and Uncle Howie!

Sierra picked her first pumpkin (with a little help from Dad and Uncle Howie) and the whole family ran the corn maze! We had an incredibly fun time and are already looking forward to going back next year!!
